Nails grow at night

A scientist was absolutely sure that nails grew with the moon but there was no evidence to show that it was true. This scientist called Rudenhort has been working on this theory for more than 20 years, and he has not been able to find out the answer.

This scientist was locked in his laboratory most of the time. And as we know the moon only appears at night, so he worked all the day long and when the moon appeared he stopped what he was doing and he observed rats or members of his family, to see if their nails were growing.

After a lot of years of trying, he could not find evidences that his theory was true, so he became crazy and he was sent to a booby hatch in the USA. However, he escaped even though they have security.

The government exiled him from the country. As a result, he went to Spain. He was chased by the police, for a month, and then the police found his body in a river.

An essay on "The Strange Case of Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde"

In the classs of writtin, we learn how to write a essay, and we have to write one, I chose rhe themes of “The Strange Case of Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde”

The novel “The Strange Case of Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde” written by Robert Louis Stevenson, he talks about a man called Dr.Henry Jekyll, who is interested in dividing the human soul. After years of experiments, obtain his goal but the results are not the expected ones. In this essay, duality of human nature, importance of reputation and the guilty and the innocent, which are the main themes of the novel, will be the centre of analysis.

In the Duality of Human Nature, Jekyll think that “man is not truly one, but truly two” this means that human, has two parts, the angel and the devil. So he creates a potion to separate it that only brings problems. This makes get out “Hyde” his “devil “part and he take control of him, they are totally opposite. Hyde is seen as an animalistic, troglodyte.   “It was on the moral side, and in my own person, that I learned to recognize the thorough and primitive duality of man”. He cause damages and kill people that may be, they are innocent, and on the other hand Jekyll is very respected, that really Hyde, is the side of Jekyll that people less see.

The importance of Reputation, is very important, it was a value system. Gossips for example are seen as a great destroyer of reputation, Utterson and Enfield every time avoid gossips, “Mr Utterson sighed deeply, but said never a word; and the young man presently resumed. J ´Here is another lesson to say nothing, ´ said he. ´I am ashamed of my long tongue. Let us make a bargain never to refer to this again”. Jekyll is a respected man and this is the reason why Jekyll, could not show his devil part, because, he will lose, his reputation. But Hyde has a bad reputation, everybody is afraid of him.

The guilty and the innocent, violence, has to different points of view. The guilty could be Hyde because he is the one that everyone see murdering, however the one that creates him is Jekyll in fact. And the innocent also had different points of view. Of course the innocent are the victims of the murders of him, but also Jekyll could the innocent because he loses control over him and he cannot do anything to control Hyde. But in the story nobody see Jekyll as the innocent because it was his devil part. All the story Hyde kill people starting from the the little girl and finishing with Sir.Carew, “And next moment, with ape-like fury, he was trampling his victim under foot, and hailing down a storm of blows, under which the bones were audibly shattered and the body jumped upon the roadway”.

In “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde”, the themes, the Duality of Human Nature, the importance of Reputation and the guilty and the innocent are very important to understand the themes, because if you read it, it make you understand better the story.

Parents trap

Parents trap is a movie by Nancy Meyers. It is a story about two girls who went camping, and then their lives changed. One went to London and the other one went to California to know their parents.

This girls wanted their parents to fall in love again and live all together. Besides, they wanted to know why they had separate, and why they had separated them. However, the problem was that her father was about to get married with a bad woman.

This film reflected the love of these two sisters who had never seen each other. They became best friends in a summer, and they did whatever was necessary to live all together. And as usual they had fights as all sisters do.


In my opinion it is a great film and you can watch it and spend a great time with your family. It is a comedy for all ages. It was so good that I could not stop watching it

Cheaters

In the subject of L/L Writing,we have to created a short story, we studied how to writed, and we have to end this story with this pharse; "And that was the last time she ever saw them."

And this is my story,

There was a group of friends who lived in the best conditions with different types of families that lived in London. The most important of this group was Maria, she was a very good friend. She was every moment of her life ready to help all her friends and she loved each of them in the same way. Also her boyfriend, Marcus, was part of this group of friends, that had a leader that was Maria. She was blond, tall, and a very nice girl but she became into another person when they had to take revenge on someone who hurt one of her friends. Marcus was a tall boy with a big heart, and also a good friend. Then it was Patrick, the intelligent one, he was like the dad of this group. Always alert. And the last was Sophia, that was the Maria best friend, she was short with shiny brown hair.

These four friends decided to go to Paris to spend their holidays all together. They had just one objective, to spend the best holidays of their lives. The first day was lovely and perfect, they went to the beach and Maria saw that her boyfriend was really strange, and that he was trying to escape from someone. She was really worried, so she decided to tell Sophia what was happening.

“Am I crazy or Marcus is strange?”

“Why do you say that?”, Sophia asked very surprised

“Because he is behaving in a very strange way”, Maria whispered

“I think that you have to be more secure about your boyfriend”

“I am not sure”, Said Maria

So Sophia called Patrick, “Maria thinks that Marcus is behaving in a strange way”

“I had never noticed”, Patrick gave his points of view

Maria decided to go to the hotel to relax, and think about her thoughts. She was really sure that Marcus was in something strange, so she decided to follow him, and she found him and her friends in a bar.

“What happened here?”, Asked Maria

“Nothing Maria”, Sophia said nervously

“It’s time to tell the truth, we cannot be a couple”, Said Marcus

“Why?”, Asked Maria

“Because I am in love with Sophia”, Confessed Marcus

“And did you know it, Patrick=”, Asked Maria crying

“Yes, but I couldn’t say anything”, Said Patrick

“All of you are bad people”, Shouted Maria

Maria was crying and shouting “I hate you”, and nobody saw her for years. I have never seen such pain like that. And that was the last time she ever saw them.

En la clase de Lengua y Ed.Artistica.., tuvimos que intervenir el patio del colegio el dibujo con figuras geométricas, y sacarles fotos a la intervención terminada, luego en la clase Tics tuvimos que elegir una auto foto y intervenirla con las fotos que le sacamos anteriormente a la intervención.

Parents Trap

Two girls went to a camp to spend part of their holidays. They did not know each other, but they looked physically similar. When they first met, they did not like each other. They made jokes to each other. One girl was called Annie and the other was Halie.

When they saw each other, they hated each other, because they had different ideas. Everybody was surprised to see their similarities. Since they had crossed the line with the jokes, their coordinator got angry and send them to a cottage together. They solved their problems and they realized that they were twin sisters. After that, they decided to change roles, Annie would go to Hallie’s house to meet her father and Hallie would go to London to meet her mother.

In the end, they decided to confess. The father was in love with a young bad women, but when he saw Annie and Halie’s mother and he fell in love with her again. They got together and the twins and their parents lived together happily ever after.

12 of April 1889

Today is a lovely day, here in London. The sky is blue and the sun I big like my smile, because today I have finished creating my potion, that took me many year of work but today it’s my time, nobody can stop me. Many years locked in my laboratory, a lot of things I missed now I have to put the secret ingredient to sepear my two parts. I would like to shout it everybody that didn’t believe I could do it, but if the potion works, okey nobody will know it, and it will be a secret between me and my laboratory. Could you imagine my good part and bad part separated? It make me very happy only to imagine it, my efforts will be showed in a potion, a wretched potion that could change my life. I don’t know what could happen but I am here I cannot go back, I have to do it and I am going to do it

Today is a dark day, here in London, I a really sad, because of my bad personality, that I called Mr. Hyde. When I transformed in Hyde, I suffered a lot. My hair started to disappear, my face started to change, I was stronger, my nails changed, I was horrible, really horrible, I really don’t remember anything, I only remember when I started to transform, but then I don’t remember what I have done and this scares me a lot because I got up in the street with a dead woman in front of me and everybody was shouting. I don’t know what happened, but the positive thing is that I sepear my two parts, but I could never imagine that my other part could be so bad. In my worst night mare I can imagine on something like this. I don’t know if I will try it something like this. I don’t know if I will try it again, my future is in my hands. I have the decision of try it again and committed murder or I continue my life like a normal person

The Metamorphosis

In drama i created my own character it is called Sophia i wrote a monologue togive her voice. This is me playing the role,

I am tired of listen yours feelings when you saw me. Know is my time,

I fell part aside from everybody and part a side of me, I saw to the mirror and I was too sad to continue living. I want to died, you know what is too died, not continues living. Because of her, and know I am going to tell you what happened,

I was the most popular and beautiful girl of my city, and everybody was jealous of my but one day, a new girl came to the city, and she think she will be more popular than me. Who believed she was, even in my worst nightmare I could thing that I couldn’t be the most popular. But magically my worst nightmare came true and I started hating me, and I started to do thinks I never had done, and that you could never imagine, I fell disgusting and every day of my life I think who too be more popular, it isn’t true that you will be more popular if you are more beautiful than others, the thing is to be you every moment.

And this is why I am know ugly.

Feudalismo

En la clase de Historia estuvimos trabajando sobre la Edad Media. La Edad Media es un periodo que comenzó en año 476 con la caída del Imperio romano de Occidente y finalizó en  1453 con la caída del Imperio Bizantino. Una de las principales características de esta época fueron los feudos. En base a esta importante característica realizamos un trabajo práctico que consistió en buscar datos históricos sobre un feudo en particular, y en base a él desarrollamos las diferentes consignas dadas. Esta es la primera parte.

Localización del feudo:

Nuestro señorío se encuentra en Vizcaya. Vizcaya es una provincia de España y un territorio histórico de la comunidad autónoma del País Vasco, heredero del antiguo señorío de Vizcaya. Su capital es Bilbao.

Escudo:

Este es el escudo del señorío de Vizcaya que nosotros diseñamos. Cada símbolo tiene un significado diferente. Esos significados se relacionan con los diferentes valores que representan a nuestro señorío. A su vez los colores también forman parte de los valores del mismo.

Los colores: 

El dorado significa generosidad; mientras que el blanco o plateado significa la paz y la sinceridad; en tanto que el rojo significa guerrero, fortaleza y la magnanimidad; finalmente el azul significa la verdad y la lealtad.

Generosidad/Magnanimidad: Porque en este feudo tanto los señores feudales como los vasallos trabajaban juntos por el bienestar de todos.

Paz: Si bien se supone que los señores feudales amaban la guerra, en este feudo siempre se tendía a conservar la paz.

Sinceridad/Verdad: La mentira era uno de los delitos más castigados en estas tierras.

Guerrero: Tanto para proteger la paz como la tierra y a sus habitantes, siempre estaban dispuestos a luchar.

Fortaleza: Física y espiritual para trasmitir valores del feudo.

Lealtad/Fidelidad: A los señores feudales, a los vasallos, a las tierras y a Cristo estaban dispuestos a entregar sus vidas.

Los símbolos: 

Los anillos simbolizan la fidelidad; en tanto que las flores de lirio simbolizan la pureza; mientras que leones simbolizan el coraje impávido; finalmente las cruces simbolizan a Cristo y el cristianismo.

Pureza: De espíritu, gente simple viviendo simplemente.

Coraje: Audacia sin límite para defender sus creencias.

Cristo y Cristianismo: La religión profesada por todos sus habitantes.

Video Poesia

El dia 16 de mayo, fuimos de excursión al museo MACBA (museo de arte contemporáneo de Buenos Aires), luego observar una gran cantidad obra, en la clase de lengua decidimos entrar a la pagina de MACBA y elegir una obra, buscar su autora, luego buscamos mas obras de la misma autora. Debíamos inspirarnos en las obras y realizar un poema con los sentimientos que nos causaban, y crear un video

En este trabajo tuvimos que inspirarnos en el dibujo de otro compañero de clase, y crear una historia sobre lo que nos imaginamos al ver ese dibujo, luego debíamos dibujar un dibujo abstracto con figuras geométricas

Para este dibujo tuvimos que pensar en nuestra palabra anteriormente elegida (pasión-amor) y crear un dibujo abstracto sobre el mismo. Pintarlo con tempera y luego resaltar algunas partes con lapices de colores.

Miami

In the class of L/L Writing we have to have our description of a place that we like, here is my description fished,

Miami is a nice place that is located in the Atlantic coast in the southeastern, Florida. In the USA, in America. The population I about 419,777. Is also an organized place.

Miami is the best place I have seen in all my life, because it is a nice place, a tidy place. It have a good attention, tiny beaches, the things that you can buy are not expensive at all.

The things that I can say that I don’t like is that people are not patient, and there is not Dulce de leche, that I like a lot and a lot of bad food and tourists.

Well, if I start talking about what you can do there, I will say that you can buy a lot of clothes and technological things, because as I said before, the things are cheap. You can spend all the day in the beach.

Closing with the topic, I recommend this place, and you can spend a great time. If you go there I recommend to visit the beaches and the shops. And you have to taste the “Dunas” of “Dunking Dunas” that are the best thing you will taste in all your life, I promise you.

Poesia Visual

 La poesía visual es la poesía representada en imágenes para causar la atención del lector para que lo lea mas sencillamente. O eso es lo que trata de hacer.

Es una poesía visual ya que te muestra el objeto mediante un movimiento que hace la palabra.
Acá en esta imagen trata te mostrar la palabra time (tiempo) , representando un reloj, ya que la letra M seria como las agujas del reloj que se mueven hacia la derecha. Esto te causa atracción a la imagen y entender su significado. 

Mentira para decir la verdad

La palabra somos nosotros, sin la palabra no seriamos humanos, sus primeras palabras, crecemos con la palabra, y sus últimas palabras fueron… es importante porque convivimos con la palabra vivimos con la palabra. Y la palabra poética dice lo que no dice, sirve para conocer. En cambio el silencio dice lo que quiere decir y la mentira está conectada con la ficción. Mentir para decir la verdad y la palabra literaria hace buena la mentira. El título de la obra ,Mentir para decir la verdad,  es una forma de decir la verdad ya que en algún momento la verdad saldrá a la luz
